Fog causing flight delays across South Wales and West of England

Fog is causing problems across South Wales and West of England with flights being cancelled, delayed or diverted to other airports.

So far Flybe have cancelled their morning Paris Charles De Gaulle flight from Cardiff and their later flights are showing as delayed. Bristol however has seen several flights diverted to Manchester and Birmingham and BMI Regional have cancelled their flights to Hamburg and Munich.

Cardiff Airport have warned passengers to check with their airline before travelling saying “Due to adverse weather conditions existing at Cardiff Airport, passengers are advised to check with their airlines for any flight disruptions”.

The fog is expected to clear as the day progresses.
